The Lawnflite Mini Rider 76RDE Ride-On Mower by MTD is ideal as that first step up from a walk-behind mower. The lawn mower has a 76cm/30" cut and is powered by a reliable and easy-starting MTD 382cc Key Start Engine.

This model features a step-through frame and has no pedals or switches to get in the way, which means getting on and off is both easier and safer. You can effortlessly mow your lawn sitting down. This model is compact and manoeuverable and attractive in design. It also fits through any normal garden gate and thanks to its small dimensions is easy to store when not in use.

The Gearless 'Shift on the go' transmission with 6 different drive settings (6 forward and 6 reverse) allows you to change gear easily whilst on the move, making it an extremely smooth ride.

The height of cut can be adjusted through five positions between 38 - 95mm, whilst the cutting deck is offset to allow cutting right up to lawn edges and flowerbeds.

The 76 RDE ride-on mower also features Lawn-Kings optional versatile cutting system so you can collect, side discharge longer grass or mulch (mulch plug - included) ensuring that you have plenty of choice as to how to handle your grass clippings. A generous 150 litre grass box (which is around twice the size of most pedestrian mowers) is included with the mower, significantly reducing mowing time. Lawn-Kings Direct Collect© system ensures superb collection in both damp and dry conditions. An optional mulch kit is avaialble .

Mulching grass saves so much time and can make mowing the lawn more than 30% quicker as there is no need to keep going to the tip to empty clippings. You may well ask “Will I see the mulched grass?” and the answer is “No!” Mulched clippings are blown down into the turf and are not noticeable provided the grass is cut regularly and not on the lowest setting. Some owners prefer to collect grass cuttings on areas close to the house to be certain that children or pets don’t carry them inside and then use the mulching facility on all the other areas.Switching between collection or mulch modes is extremely simple and takes less than a minute. To mulch just remove the collector, insert the mulching plug into the discharge chute and replace the collector. To return to collection, simply reverse the procedure.Mulching the grass allows the clippings to be recycled, improving the soil as they decompose forming a natural fertiliser high in potash and nitrogen.
