The new Lawnflite Mini Rider 76SDE Ride-On Mower by MTD This latest 2020 model is ideal as that first step up from a walk-behind mower. The lawn mower has a 76cm/30" cut and is powered by a reliable and easy-starting 11.5HP 382cc Key start engine.

The Lawnflite 76SDE features transmatic transmission which means the speed can be simply adjusted with the foot pedal; just select forward or reverse and push the pedal to go. No stop start changing gear, just a smooth, gearless change of speed.

The height of cut can be adjusted through five positions between 38 - 95mm, whilst the cutting deck is offset to allow cutting right up to lawn edges and flowerbeds.

The Lawnflite MiniRider 76SDE is easily converted from a side discharge rider to mulching by fitting the mulch kit (Included) . Its compact design ensures you can get around all those awkward areas in the garden. The laterally displaced deck allows mowing close to edges.

Mulching grass saves so much time and can make mowing the lawn more than 30% quicker as there is no need to keep going to the tip to empty clippings. You may well ask “Will I see the mulched grass?” and the answer is “No!” Mulched clippings are blown down into the turf and are not noticeable provided the grass is cut regularly and not on the lowest setting. Some owners prefer to collect grass cuttings on areas close to the house to be certain that children or pets don’t carry them inside and then use the mulching facility on all the other areas.Switching between collection or mulch modes is extremely simple and takes less than a minute. To mulch just remove the collector, insert the mulching plug into the discharge chute and replace the collector. To return to collection, simply reverse the procedure.Mulching the grass allows the clippings to be recycled, improving the soil as they decompose forming a natural fertiliser high in potash and nitrogen.
